Seems to be a good product. The 2 inch wide version is better. 3 inch product should be made available because stress cracks are seldom in a straight line. Applying a skim coat of sheetrock mud over and around the tape is necessary to truly hide the tape and allow a smooth finish. How the mud will affect the tape over time is unknown to the public but should be made known by the manufacturer.
Used for a DIY project to cover a ceiling stress crack. Very easy to use.

The product received Was not textured and was not adhesive
The Stress crack Tape has a liner on the back that needs to be removed. Plus the item ordered was the 50' x 2' roll which only comes in smooth. For pre-textured Stress Crack Tape please select item 7012 12' x 1.25' roll which offers an orange peel texture.

Works reasonably well. Easy to work with. Textured tape may have been better but since it was less than 2 inches thick & had a shipping cost, I went with the one I ordered.
I'm a professional painter and have repaired stress cracks for homeowners who years later told me that I did the only repair that didn't come back. I fill the crack, use 2" stress crack tape and skim coat it for a smooth finish.
Used it for corners and some cracks too. I cut it into manageable sizes for longer cracks and slightly overlapped the ends.
Ordered the stress crack tape and it arrived very fast. Used this on a crack that keeps opening up and painted over it. You can hardly tell where I repaired the wall. This stuff is amazing and it took me less than 10 minutes to apply and paint! Will definitely recommend this product to everyone I know. Finally, a product that does what it is supposed to do!!

This is a great product easy to use and does what it says it will do.
This looks like a very good product ,which i have yet too use as I am waiting for the cracks on my wall too close up, when we get some sustained rain in the autumn ( Fall ) . If it does what it says on the web page I shall be more than happy.
Its a great pity this product is not being sold here in the UK, as their is nothing like it on the market

I think this product is the best home repair product I have ever seen. I had a lot of thin, small cracks in sheetrock along windows and around doors. I thought I'd have to cut out the old sheetrock and apply multiple layers of topping compound. But, this tape saved me days of work. Just cut a strip and put it over the crack, following by a light coat of topping compound and it was ready for paint. I applied over 100 feet of tape over lots of cracks and they all just disappear. I recommend this product to everyone. It's FAST and easy, yielding great results.
